Global Service Manager

UEI is a rapidly growing manufacturer of computer-based data acquisition and control products headquartered in Norwood, MA. Due to our recent growth and international expansion, we are seeking an accomplished Global Service Manager who will be responsible for development, implementation, and continued management of our service business. This position will be responsible for analyzing after sales service profitability including review and recommended expansion.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Develop a service product line that may include service contracts, long term obsolescence protection, software update services, applications/training, etc.
  • Develop service contracts and present to the team.
  • Develop, implement, and manage after sale business activity database.
  • Prepare warranty and non-warranty administrative reports to including forecasting analytics.
  • Coordinate all service activities including service of products sole both in and out of warranty.
  • Manage after sales service business including point of contact for product failure activities and coordination of support issues.
  • Development a service accounting program to include warranty and out of warranty income and expenses.
  • Manage and analyze information reported to analyze opportunities for improvement with the product line and maintain responsiveness to customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required due to government military contracts.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or other related engineering degree.
  • 5+ years of service-related experience in technology-based industry.
  • Ability to learn and work with company software programs including Salesforce, Sage MAS, and NetSuite.
  • Prior experience in a test, measurement, or control industry preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite or related electronic system.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong planning, organization, and implementation skills.
  • Prior planning and program/project management experience.
  • Results-driven, action-oriented, positive, and energetic.
  • Strong problem analysis, process orientation, and resolution skills.
  • Possess a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record as a leader who delivers results.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Domestic and International Travel Requirement 50%.
  • Multilingual preferred.
