Sales Administrator

Founded in 1990, UEI has experienced tremendous growth over recent years and is looking for a Sales Administrator. Reporting to the Director of Global Sales, the ideal candidate will have customer support experience in a sales department and military contract experience is a plus.

Currently, our sales administrators are working remotely. However, by July, this full-time position will be working 5 days per week out of our Norwood, MA headquarters. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Receive in customer orders via Fax, E-mail, Phone, and enter into UEI software.
  • Confirm & acknowledge receipt of all orders back to customer within 12-24 hrs.
  • Review terms and conditions, including federal contract flowdowns.
  • Provide customer service support to customers regarding existing orders.
  • Prepare all Sales Dept. Quotes and Sales Orders.
  • Provide customer service support to global UEI sales teams by providing/relaying information, literature and timely follow up on all inquiries.
  • Assist in RMA customer service process.
  • Complete supplier forms as needed.
  • Monitor customer portals for POs.
  • Perform general administrative office functions.
  • Assist other Sales Administrators in their duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • US Citizenship or Perm Residency is required due to government military contracts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study desirable but relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Basic Accounting and administrative experience.
  • 1-2 years prior experience in Customer Service environment.
  • Knowledge of DFAR/FAR regulations desired.
  • Ability to identify issues with government contracts and help resolve with the team.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and work with UEI company software programs including Salesforce, Sage, MAS and NetSuite.
