UEISIM 600R

The UEISIM 600R offers an unprecedented combination of flexibility, high performance, low cost and half-3U size with Gigabit Ethernet connection speed.

Models built in Simulink are deployed directly on the UEISIM using Simulink or Embedded Coder. The combination creates a powerful new solution in the creation and tuning of many real-time and non-real-time applications. These include simulation model verification, rapid prototyping, and hardware-in-the-loop testing. The UEISIM is rugged, flexible, and expandable enough that it is not only a great solution while in your development cycle, it's also the ideal solution for your production hardware.

Six easy steps and your simulation is running live on real hardware. To use the UEISIM simply:

  1. Build your Simulink application.
  2. Open MATLAB, and select Simulink/Embedded target for UEISIM.
  3. Convert your model to use the UEISIM I/O blocks (if you had not used them in your original model).
  4. Create and executable via Simulink or Embedded Coder.
  5. Connect the UEISIM in "expandable mode" (if you wish to remotely monitor the application while running on the UEISIM).
  6. Start your simulation.

Each UEISIM 600R Rack contains the processor preloaded with the standard Linux operating system. It also contains dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, serial port, inter-cube sync interface and 6 I/O slots and allows up to 150 analog inputs or 288 DIO channels. The UEISIM uses the same I/O boards as our popular PowerDNA family and includes analog input (with up to 24 bit resolution), analog output (up to 32 channels PER BOARD), digital I/O, Serial and CAN communications, ARINC-429 networking, counter/timer, quadrature encoder input and more. With over 90 different I/O boards available there is sure to be a configuration perfect for your application.

UEI can help support Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) in your control, test, and monitoring applications.

Mathworks Embedded Coder® & UEI Solutions

Mathworks Embedded Coder® generates readable, compact, and fast C and C++ code for embedded processors used in mass production. Embedded Coder is available for use on UEIPAC and UEISIM systems. The choice of Embedded Coder versus Simulink Coder is done when selecting the system target file (same as what you would do to select PowerPC, SoloX ARM, or Zynq UltraScale+ CPU targets).
