Marketing Communications Specialist copy

The successful candidate must be a highly motivated, self-starter who thoroughly enjoys the entire sales cycle! You will work out of your home office and be responsible for all sales activities in our West Coast territory. You will report to the Director of Sales.

Primary Duties:

• Identify, manage and close new opportunities with key accounts
• Demonstrate our hardware and software technologies to potential customers
• Forecast sales on a monthly basis for your territory; effectively use our CRM to provide insight into active opportunities in all stages of the sales cycle
• Ultimately drive the performance of your territory
• Foster a system integrator program in your territory
• Domain experience in a DAQ, embedded control, test & measurement or closely related hands-on technical background.
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience, BSEE preferred.
• You must know the difference between “Test and Measurement” and “Data Acquisition and Control”.
• 5+ years of field engineering/sales experience and a desire to be customer-facing
• Willingness to travel up to 60%
• Detail-oriented and a self-starter
• Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
• Must be US Citizen to meet customer requirements

Required skills:

• Ability to forecast and analyze sales drivers and identify new opportunities
• Aerospace and/or Space sales experience highly desired
