Software / Test Engineer

UEI is a rapidly growing manufacturer of computer-based data acquisition and control products. We are poised for incredible growth and looking to find a talented Software Engineer with significant Test experience. Based in Walpole, MA, this position will report to our Director of Engineering and will work collaboratively with our engineering groups to improve test coverage of the product line.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Design and implement test plans
  • Design and build test setups
  • Write software to exercise and test product line
  • Interpret and replicate failures of regression and unit testing, work with design engineers to address those issues
  • Write and maintain unit regression tests for our API
  • Assist production and FAEs to replicate problems

Position Requirements

  • BS degree in EE/CE/AE or other physical science
  • 1-5 years of experience in C/C++ development role including internship experience
  • Experience with Windows and Linux OS
  • Programming experience with LabView, C# and Python
  • Understanding principles of unit and regression testing
  • Detail-oriented system thinker
  • US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (no sponsorship available)
  • Experience in T&M, DAQ, industrial control or serial avionics interfaces a huge plus!

Based in Walpole, MA, this position will report to our Director of Engineering and will work collaboratively with our engineering groups to improve test coverage of the product line.
