ARINC-708/453 interface with two TX and two RX channels.
The DNx-708-453 provides an ARINC 708 and 453 interface for UEI's popular Cube chassis. The board is ideal for both simulator and on-aircraft operation for such equipment as weather radar and Ground Proximity Warning Systems. All TX/RX channels are brought out to the boards 62-pin "D" connector. A cable adaptor is also included that brings each TX/RX channel out to a standard MIL-1553 style coaxial connector.
In Part 2, we will discuss UEI's ARINC-429 FIFO and Scheduler features.
See how easy it is to use LabVIEW to interface with United Electronic Industries DAQ, Control, and Simulation hardware for ARINC-429 applications.
ARINC 429 is the avionics data bus standard used on most high-end commercial aircraft. The standard defines both the physical and electrical interfaces of a two-wire data bus as well as the data protocol to support an aircraft's avionics network.
The United Electronics Industries DNx-AFDX-664 board is a dual-channel AFDX™/ARINC-664 avionics communications interface for UEI's popular Cube and RACKtangle I/O chassis.
