UEI provides a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity tools designed to streamline your path to NIST 800.213 compliance. Our secure processors with TPM ensure a signed, encrypted, and protected boot loader, OS, and application, integrating FIPS 140.2-compliant encryption—all effortlessly configured through our UEI-SAT security automation tool.

At the core of our solution is the UEI-SAT security automation configurator, which simplifies the process of locking down UEI hardware for secure boot across all OSs and applications. With built-in encryption and hardware control, it supports zero trust security. Additionally, our preloaded secure toolkits accelerate your secure application development.

UEIPAC I/O systems offers an unprecedented combination of flexibility, high performance, low cost, and small size. These systems are an ideal solution for a wide variety of measurement and control applications including: Temperature control, Remote vehicle control (UAV and ULV), Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), and more.

Each UEIPAC 1G Cube, Rack, or MIL system contains the SoloX ARM i.MX6 processor which provides 5 times the CPU horsepower than previous versions of the 1G systems. These systems also have an HMI interface including HDMI and touchscreen interface capability. In addition, an M.2 slot allows customers to install a wide variety of peripherals including WIFI, CELL/GSM and Solid-state hard drives. It also contains dual Gigabit Ethernet NIC ports, serial port, inter-cube sync interface, and up to 12 slots depending on the selected chassis style.

UEIPAC (Programmable Automation Controller)

Our UEIPAC deployment mode is also an ideal solution for a host of embedded DAQ applications as it allows systems to be developed without the cost or the additional space required by an external host computer.

A key advantage of the UEIPAC is its standalone application deployment. In PowerDNA systems, the VxWorks application is written for and runs on a host PC that is connected to one or more UEI chassis via Ethernet. In UEIPAC systems, the VxWorks application runs directly on the UEI RACK or Cube. There is no need for a separate host PC, though you can certainly connect one in a monitoring or supervisory role. The new VxWorks support allows these applications to be developed and run in VxWorks. This allows smaller, faster, more reliable, and higher performance systems. It also eliminates the cost of a dedicated host PC and guarantees long-term availability of the identical hardware. This is critical when certifying products through CE or FDA, etc.

Mathworks Embedded Coder® & UEI Solutions

Mathworks Embedded Coder® generates readable, compact, and fast C and C++ code for embedded processors used in mass production. Embedded Coder is available for use on UEIPAC and UEISIM systems. The choice of Embedded Coder versus Simulink Coder is done when selecting the system target file (same as what you would do to select PowerPC, SoloX ARM, or Zynq UltraScale+ CPU targets).
